Mar 6, 2019 | Posted by Mind Resilience Organization | Uncategorized |

As social media continues to play an ever increasing role in our lives it is important that we examine its roll in our well-being. This article here explains how social media can positively affect ones social being if done moderately. This second article takes a look at the flip side and how parents themselves can help teach their kids to resist thoughts of self doubt and increase resilience often brought on by viewing “influencers”.

Think about some of these questions as you explore these articles;

The first article referred to “duck syndrome”  where you see the duck gliding above the water but you do not see how hard it is working underneath the water to move and relating that to social media.  What do you think the impact of “duck syndrome” is on people of all ages or do you think it just impact teens?

How can we promote resilience for those who use social media on a regular basis?

What are the important skills needed to manage social media in a healthy way?
