Building Organizational Resilience

Nov 1, 2022 | Posted by Mind Resilience Organization | Uncategorized |

Chalarra Sessoms with the Behavioral Health Administration facilitated the Fall Respite Care Committee Meeting and Annual Respite Care Retreat titled “ReConnecting Respite”. This 3 page collage features organizational resilience in action. This event was an opportunity to conduct business, nurture connections, and celebrate the dedication of behavioral health professionals. The respite care providers have been able to pivot and adjust as many behavioral health organizations have done throughout the past few years in the face of adversities.  After more than 2 years, these old and new colleagues had the opportunity to (re)connect. This collage represents resilient, resourceful, and connected colleagues working together.

1. Notice the small things. What are 3 things you noticed went right this week for you?

2. Name 1 way you create an environment that nurtures resilience within a meeting.

3. Identify your favorite staff self-care activity.
